BalletMet — 'My First' Sensory-Friendly Performances

BalletMet's 'My First' productions are one-hour, sensory-friendly performances for ages 3 and up, published on the company's own site. House lights stay softly lit and dimmed and sound levels stay gentle with reduced noises; a calming area with comfortable seating and a quiet space are available at any time. Guests may choose their seat, get up and move around, and explore the lobby and hallways, with kid-approved crafts, friendly character introductions, and a Sensory Friendly Team Member on hand. My First Nutcracker runs December 22 and 23, 2026 at the Ohio Theatre, with My First Sleeping Beauty following April 17–18, 2027.
